Just an update because so many of you have been asking if we’re in the strike zone of Florence. We’re about 4-hours from the coast. We are not in the evacuation zone. We are far enough out that we won’t take the brunt of the storm, but will experience high winds and a lot of rain. We’ve got supplies and flashlights/back up batteries and food if the power goes out. Our cars are full of gas and we’re moving all the patio furniture to the garage. That’s about what we can do. What I ask is that you pray for coastal families. They are leaving and have no idea what they will come back to. That’s a scary thought. I can’t imagine the chaos down there with everyone trying to get out. I will say the states have it together, not waiting to act. That’s refreshing for sure.
